I offer Google Business Profile setup and optimisation for £100, paid once, as an add-on to any £25 a month Growthwright website. I set up your profile (or fix the one you've got), fill in every detail properly, pick the right categories and link it to your website. Your profile is the box that appears on Google Maps and on the right of search results, with your phone number, reviews and opening hours.
For a lot of local businesses, it's the first thing a customer sees. Often before your website. So it's worth getting right.
Who it's for
- Businesses with a shop, salon, restaurant or office people visit.
- Trades and mobile services that cover an area, like plumbers, cleaners and dog groomers.
- Anyone who's searched for their own trade and town and not seen themselves on the map.
- Anyone with a half-finished profile, wrong hours or an old phone number on Google.

How Google decides who shows up
Google says its local results are based mainly on three things:
- Relevance: how well your profile matches what someone searched for.
- Distance: how far you are from the person searching, or the place they searched for.
- Prominence: how well known you are, which includes things like reviews and information about you across the web.
You can't move your premises closer to every customer. But relevance is largely in your hands, and complete, accurate details are part of it. Google also says businesses with complete and accurate information are easier to match with the right searches. That's the bit I sort out.
Prominence takes time. Reviews help a lot, and I've written a guide on how to get more Google reviews without being awkward about it. For the bigger picture, see how Google Business Profile ranking works.
How it works
- Quick chat. We go through what you do, the area you cover and your hours.
- I set it up or fix it. Categories, description, services, photos and links.
- You verify it. Google needs to confirm you're the real owner. I'll tell you exactly what to do.
- It goes live. Your profile is complete and pointing at your new website.
- You start collecting reviews. You get a review link to send happy customers.
Pricing
£100, paid once, when you take a £25 a month website. The profile itself is free from Google. You're paying for my time doing it properly. Pair it with the SEO, speed and accessibility tune-up (also £100) and both your site and your profile are in good shape. All the website pricing is on the homepage.
Why me
I've set up and managed Google profiles for UK businesses for years as a director at Pixel Media Group. It's not complicated, but there are lots of small choices that are easy to get wrong, like the wrong primary category or a name that doesn't match your signage. I get them right.
Common worries
"I work from home. Will my address be public?"
Not if you don't serve customers there. Google lets service-area businesses hide their address and show the area they cover instead. I'll set it up that way.
"Can't I just do it myself?"
You can, and Google makes it free. If you've got the time, my ranking guide will help. If you'd rather it was just done, that's what the £100 is for.
"Will I be top of the map tomorrow?"
No one can promise that. What I promise is a complete, accurate profile that gives you a fair shot.
Keeping it working after set-up
Once your profile is set up, a few small habits keep it useful. None of them take long:
- Update your hours for bank holidays and Christmas, so nobody turns up to a locked door.
- Reply to reviews, good and bad. A short, polite reply shows you care.
- Add new photos now and then: recent jobs, new dishes, the team.
- Answer questions people ask on your profile.
- Keep details matching your website, especially your phone number and address.
I'll show you where all of this lives when we're done, so you're not left guessing.
