Yes, small business website design for £25 a month is real, and here's exactly what you get. I design your site, write the words with you, build it, host it and look after it. You pay £25 a month on a 12-month minimum term. There's no setup fee, and 1 business email address is included. That's it.
Most web designers want £1,000 or more upfront. That's a lot to find when you're starting out or keeping a small business going. I'd rather you spread it out and keep your cash for the things that actually earn money.
Who it's for
This is affordable website design for UK businesses that need a site that works, not a project that drags on for months. It suits:
- Trades and local services: builders, electricians, cleaners, gardeners, mobile mechanics.
- Restaurants, cafés and takeaways that need menus, opening hours and a way to get in touch.
- Consultants, coaches and freelancers who need to look credible when someone Googles them.
- Anyone stuck with an old site they can't edit, or a DIY template they've given up fighting.
If you need online booking, customer logins or anything that behaves more like software, that's a custom app and I'll quote it separately.

How it works
- Quick chat. 15 minutes on the phone. You tell me what you do, who your customers are and what you want them to do when they land on your site.
- I design and write it. I put the site together and send it over for you to check.
- You ask for changes. Wrong photo, wrong wording, missing service? Tell me and I'll fix it.
- You go live. Your site and email are switched on. Your first £25 payment starts then, not before.
- I look after it. Hosting, SSL and updates are handled. If something needs changing, you ring me.
Pricing in plain words
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Website, hosting, SSL, updates and 1 email | £25 a month |
| Each extra email address | £5 a month |
| Setup fee | None |
| Minimum term | 12 months |
| SEO, speed and accessibility tune-up (optional) | £100 once |
| Google Business Profile set-up (optional) | £100 once |
So a site with one email is £300 over the first year. With two extra addresses it's £35 a month. You can play with the numbers on the homepage price calculator.
The two add-ons are only available with a £25 a month website. The SEO, speed and accessibility tune-up gets your site to the standard my own sites hit on Google Lighthouse. The Google Business Profile set-up helps you show up on Google Maps for local searches. Want to compare this with paying upfront? Contract, ownership and changes
- The term. 12 months minimum. After that it rolls on monthly, and you can cancel any time with 30 days' written notice. Full details are in the terms.
- Your domain and content. Your domain name is registered in your name. The words, photos and logo are yours. The domain is included in the £25 a month for .co.uk and .com domains while you're a customer.
- The design and code. These stay mine while I host the site. If you leave after the 12-month minimum, I can hand over a copy of the site files for a one-off £100 export fee. Or you can just keep your domain and content.
- Small changes. Text, photos, opening hours and prices are included. Just ring or email.
- Bigger changes. New pages or new features are quoted first, so you know the cost before I start.
Why trust me with it
I've spent over 7 years as a director of Pixel Media Group, building websites and marketing for UK businesses. I also built Patchline and Warmpipe, and their sites score 100 out of 100 on all four Google Lighthouse tests, as does Pixel Media Group's. You can see the score screenshots on the SEO and speed page.
I started out as a small business myself, doing everything on my own with no budget to spare. That's why this is priced the way it is.
The honest answers to the obvious worries
"What's the catch?"
The 12-month minimum term. That's how I can skip the setup fee. It's written down here and in your agreement, so no surprises.
"Will it look cheap?"
It's a custom design, written for your business. Cheap is a template nobody's touched. This isn't that.
"I'm rubbish with tech."
Good, that's my job. You don't need to log into anything. If you want something changed, tell me.
"I already pay for a website."
I can rebuild it properly and move your email across. Check what you're paying now against £25 a month.
What a good small business website actually does
A website isn't there to look pretty. It's there to get someone from "who are this lot?" to picking up the phone. Every site I build is planned around that:
- Says what you do in the first few seconds. Trade, town and why you, at the top of the page.
- Makes it easy to get in touch. Tap-to-call phone number, a short enquiry form and clear opening hours.
- Builds trust. Real photos, accreditations, the areas you cover and your reviews.
- Gives Google something to work with. A page for each main service, written in the words customers search for.
- Works on a phone. Big buttons, readable text and nothing that takes ages to load.
If you want to get ahead on the Google side, my local SEO checklist for small businesses is a good read while I build.
What I'll need from you
Not much. Your logo if you have one, a few photos of your work or premises, your prices if you want them shown, and 15 minutes to tell me about the business. If you haven't got a logo or decent photos, tell me and we'll work round it. Plenty of good sites start with a phone camera.
