This is web design in Essex without the big upfront bill. I'm Sam Hoad, I run Growthwright from Brentwood, and I build custom small business websites for £25 a month on a 12-month minimum term. No setup fee. Hosting, the SSL padlock, security updates, an enquiry form and 1 business email are all included. I'll design it, write the words with you and look after it once it's live.

Essex is a big county with very different places in it, and a website should fit the place as well as the business. A few examples of where I can help:

  5. I look after it. Small changes like new prices, photos or opening hours are included.

After 12 months it rolls on monthly, and either of us can cancel with 30 days' notice. Your domain is registered in your name. Getting found by customers in your part of Essex

Most local customers search for a service plus a place: "roofer Basildon", "café Colchester", "accountant Chelmsford". Google often answers with a map pack drawn from Google Business Profiles. If your profile is half-finished, or your address and phone number don't match your website, you're making it harder for yourself.

Which parts of Essex do you cover?

All of it. I'm based in Brentwood, and I work with businesses anywhere in Essex, from Basildon and Southend-on-Sea to Chelmsford and Colchester. Most work happens by phone or video, with in-person meetings where it's practical.

How much does web design cost in Essex?

Prices vary a lot between designers. With me it's £25 a month on a 12-month minimum term, with no setup fee. Hosting, SSL, security updates and 1 business email are included.

Do I need to meet you in person?

No. A 15 minute phone or video call is usually all I need. If you're near Brentwood and would prefer to meet, we can.

Do I own my website and domain?

Your domain is registered in your name, and your words, photos, logo and email data are yours. The design and code come as part of the subscription. After the 12 months you can take your content free or have a copy of the site files for a one-off £100 export fee.

Can you help my business show up in local searches?

Yes. I offer a Google Business Profile set-up and optimisation and an SEO, speed and accessibility tune-up, £100 each, paid once, with a £25 a month website. Google decides its own rankings, so I won't promise a position.
