In plain English. The website is £25 a month with a 12-month minimum term and no setup fee. After 12 months it rolls monthly and either of us can cancel with 30 days' notice by email. Your domain, content and email data are yours. Add-ons are paid once, up front. Social posts roll monthly. I'll always tell you the cost of anything extra before I start.
Who these terms are with
Growthwright is run by Sam Hoad, Brentwood, Essex. When these terms say "I", "me" or "Growthwright", that's me. When they say "you", that's you, the customer. You can reach me on 07311 051251 or sam@growthwright.co.uk.
These terms cover every service on this site. Some services also have a written quote, and where a quote says something different, the quote wins for that piece of work.
The £25 a month website
- Price. £25 a month, billed monthly in advance. No setup fee.
- Minimum term. 12 months, starting on the date your site goes live.
- Email. 1 email address is included. Extra addresses are £5 a month each. You can add or remove them any time. A removal takes effect from the next billing month.
- After 12 months. It rolls on monthly. Either of us can cancel with 30 days' written notice. Email is fine.
- Cancelling early. If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining months of the 12 are still due.
What's included, and what isn't
Included in the £25 a month:
- hosting and an SSL certificate (the padlock)
- security updates
- the pages and wording we agree when I build the site
- an enquiry form
- small content updates on request, within reason: changes to text, photos, prices or opening hours
Bigger changes, such as new sections or pages, a redesign or new features, are quoted first. You decide whether to go ahead before any work starts.
Who owns what
- Your domain name. Yours. It's registered in your name, or I'll transfer it to you on request at no charge.
- Your content. Yours. That means the words, photos and logos, whether you provide them or I write them for you.
- Your email data. Yours.
- The design and code. These are provided as part of the subscription.
If you leave after the minimum term, you can:
- take a copy of your content and email data, free, or
- have a copy of the site files for a one-off £100 export fee.
Hosting and email accounts stop at the end of the notice period. If you ask, I'll help you move your email somewhere else.
£100 add-ons
There are two: the SEO, site speed and accessibility tune-up, and the Google Business Profile set-up and optimisation. Each is £100, paid once, before work starts. They're only available with an active £25 a month website.
I can't guarantee rankings, or scores on third-party platforms. Google controls its own results, and so do the other platforms. What I can promise is that the work is done properly and I'll tell you what I did.
Social media posts
- £150 a month for 4 posts a week.
- Monthly rolling. Either of us can cancel with 30 days' notice.
- I send the whole month's posts to you for approval before anything is scheduled.
- If you send me photos, you're responsible for having the right to use them.
- If access to your social accounts is removed, I can pause posting until it's sorted.
Custom apps, integrations and Patchline
Custom apps and integrations are done on a fixed written quote. The payment terms are set out in that quote.
The Patchline cold-calling CRM is sold under Patchline's own terms, which you can read at patchline.co.uk/terms.
Payments and late payment
If a payment fails, I'll contact you to sort it out. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, your site may be suspended until it's paid.
If you're a business customer, I may be entitled to claim statutory interest and compensation on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Your side of the deal
- Give me accurate information about your business.
- Only ask me to publish content that's lawful and that you have the right to use.
- Reply to approvals promptly, so work doesn't stall.
Liability
I'll do the work with reasonable care and skill. I'm not liable for indirect losses or loss of profits. My total liability to you is limited to the fees you've paid me in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited.
If you're a consumer
My services are aimed at businesses. If you're buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you have statutory rights that these terms don't take away. That includes, in most cases, a right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 when you buy at a distance, for example by phone or online. If you ask me to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you may have to pay for work already done.
Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I'll give you 30 days' notice. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
