A cold calling CRM for UK sales teams

I built Patchline because I needed it myself. It finds UK leads, screens them against TPS, dials from your browser and sends proposals customers sign on their phone.

From £59 a seat a month

If you're looking for a cold calling CRM in the UK, Patchline is the one I built and use every day. It covers the whole job in one place: finding leads, checking they're OK to call, dialling, call-backs, the pipeline and the signed proposal at the end. It starts at £59 per rep seat per month.

Full disclosure: I own Patchline, and it's my own product. So yes, I'm biased. That's why I'd rather you try the live demo and judge it yourself.

Who it's for

  • UK businesses that sell to other businesses over the phone.
  • Sales teams of 3 or more reps who are juggling spreadsheets, a separate dialer and a separate CRM.
  • Managers who want to see what's happening without asking everyone for updates.
  • Agencies and resellers who want their own branding on it (that's the White-label plan).

The real screens

No mock-ups. These are screenshots of the actual product.

Leads. Search by trade and town. Leads come with director names from Companies House, so you know who to ask for.

Patchline browser dialer with call-backs due and daily dial goal

Dialer. Call straight from your browser. Call-backs come up when they're due, so nobody gets forgotten.

Patchline sales pipeline board with deals by stage

Pipeline. Every deal, every stage, on one board.

Patchline branded proposal ready to e-sign on a phone

Proposals. Branded proposals your customer signs on their phone, while you're still keen in their mind.

Staying on the right side of the rules

Cold calling in the UK comes with rules. Under PECR, you shouldn't make live sales calls to numbers registered with the TPS (individuals) or CTPS (businesses) unless they've told you they're happy to hear from you. Ofcom also has rules on abandoned and silent calls when you use automated dialling.

Patchline builds the guard rails in: TPS and CTPS screening, calling-hour limits and an abandoned call rate cap. It doesn't replace knowing the rules yourself, and you're still responsible for how you call. My guide to UK cold calling rules, TPS and Ofcom explains it in plain English.

  4. Start calling. Find leads, screen them and get dialling.

Why I built it

I've run sales and marketing for years at Pixel Media Group. Cold calling worked, but the tools didn't fit together: leads in one place, a dialer in another, proposals in a third, and the compliance checks somewhere in between. Patchline puts it all in one place. If your team needs the tools to talk to your other systems, I can help with integrations too, or build something bespoke as a custom app.

A typical day in Patchline

  1. Pick a patch. Search for a trade in a town, say plumbers in Chelmsford, and pull in the leads with director names.
  2. Screen them. Numbers are checked against the TPS and CTPS before anyone dials.
  3. Start dialling. Reps call from the browser with the script on screen.
  4. Log the outcome. Not interested, call back Thursday, or send a proposal.
  5. Send the proposal. A branded proposal goes out, and the customer signs it on their phone.
  6. Check the numbers. Managers see calls, conversations and deals by rep and territory.

Everything stays in one place, so nothing gets lost between a spreadsheet, a dialer and someone's notebook.

Is it right for you?

Patchline is built for teams that make a lot of outbound calls to UK businesses. If you make five calls a week, it's overkill and a spreadsheet will do. If you've got 3 or more reps on the phones most days, it's worth a look. And if your outreach is more email than phone, have a look at Warmpipe, my cold email service.
